Today the Servicepack 1 of Visual Studio 2010 was released to MSDN subscribers!The servicepack contains several changes based on the feedback collected via Microsoft Connect including several performance tweaks and the ability to change hardware accelerated graphics for the IDE.Of more interesting changes, the servicepack also includes IIS Express A lite version of IIS, running under Windows XP through Windows 7, without requiring Administrator priviligdes and seamlessly integrate the core features of ISS directly on your developer machine. IIS express is also known from the WebMatrix IDE.Visual Studio Load Test Feature Pack which allows MSDN subscribers using Visual Studio 2010, to test how their applications behave under load from several users at once.Microsoft Lightswitch beta 2 With the release of SP1, Microsoft have also updated the current version of Microsoft lightswitch to beta 2.Changelog Microsoft have released an knowledgebase (KB) article about the changes: KB 983509Availability The above mentioned updates and products are downloadable now from Microsoft Developer Network Subscriber Downloads and will generally be available (except for Visual Studio Load Test Feature Pack) on March 10.
